The Party Pig is different from conventional tapper systems. To use the Party Pig, add priming sugar to your beer as if you were going to bottle it. Then, siphon into the Party Pig. The Party Pig holds half of a normal five gallon batch, minus the sediment. The Filling Support (#C69) holds the Party Pig keg upright during filling and sealing. After the beer is in the Party Pig keg, add one sealed Pressure Pouch (#C61). The Pressure Pouch is pre-sterilized in a scaled bag, Party Pign so it is never touched. After inserting the Pressure Pouch, attach the Valve and Gasket with the Attaching Ring (secured with 4 screws). Use the Activation Pump (#C68) to pressurize the keg, it takes about 20 pumps. Then, lay the Party Pig down in its tray and secure the strap. There is a handy carrying loop on the strap. Let the beer carbonate, then put the Pig in the refrigerator. The Pressure Pouch is a heavy, folded plastic bag with multiple compartments. Pressurizing the keg causes baking soda and citric acid to mix inside the Pouch. This produces CO2 gas and causes the Pressure Pouch to swell, giving tap pressure to the beer. When the beer is finally gone, the Pressure Pouch fills the entire keg. Then, you loosen the Attaching Ring, puncture the bag, and remove it. The contents of the Pressure Pouch never touch your beer, and the system is easy to re-use. The Party Pig has full instructions. It is the best homebrewing invention we have seen in years!
